Awards

The Flow Chemistry Society encourages young scientists to present their results to the world and create innovations in the field with the „Best Poster Award”. The award was already introduced at the FROST conference series and later at the IMRET13 and IMRET14.

FROST6 will bring together scientists from a wide range of disciplines in the field of flow chemistry, thus the Flow Chemistry Society invites you, especially Postdocs, Ph.D. students, and young scientists to submit an original, unpublished work to FROST6 Poster Session. The poster session is a venue designed to highlight ongoing research and late breaking topics that have produced promising preliminary results. The poster session will be a great opportunity for the authors to interact with the conference attendees and obtain interesting and valuable feedback.

The FROST6 Poster Committee will award the Best Poster Award to the authors whose submission is deemed the strongest according to the reviewing criteria. Winners will be announced and presented with their prize at the Gala Dinner on October 19th, which for the 1st and 2nd Best Poster includes a cash prize, a set of Graduate Textbook for Flow Chemistry, as well as a 20 minutes presentation slot for the first prize winner on the last day of the conference.

Furthermore, the Royal Society of Chemistry is awarding 3 journal poster prizes, which include certificates  and  a  year’s  subscription  to  Reaction  Chemistry  &  Engineering,  presented  by Prof. Steven Ley also at the Gala Dinner.

Key topics:

  • Perspectives in flow chemistry
  • Safe production of hazardous chemicals in flow
  • Flow chemistry in pharma industry
  • Instruments for flow chemistry: microreactors
  • Flow chemistry for drug discovery

Submitted abstracts may not exceed the maximum of two pages in length. The abstract should be formatted according to guidelines.
